Oh yes. Bill ‘The Failed’ Conker and his Norminians who we sent packing, and at last, someone else who recognises the US as being a smaller county than God’s Own Earth.

Thank you for this well thought out and insightful piece on the historical considerations of a wayward colony.

It's all well and good that I live in a democracy. However, at the moment, it's operating more like a monarchy, and our king is an aged ass surrounded by syphilitic sycophants. And the poor get poorer. I wonder if there's any room for me in a London inn.

I think we should sent a boat filled with Tea to Boston. Dahjeeling second flush. Something classy.

Excellent idea although I suggest chamomile might be the best blend for this particular gesture.

That’s not a British Tea.

That's not what I learned at school.

What did you learn in school?

I learned that if you run down to the chip shop at lunch, you can be back playing football on the bottom courts by 12.15pm.

Also something about three Rs.

But mostly eating chips and playing football.

I learned (at least in the British school system, the Australian one was far more interesting) where to smoke without being caught by Mr. Tracey.
