The Em Dash…

A controversial little mark,

some say it gives a clue,

that the writing you are reading,

not written by me or you.

That it is artificially created,

intelligent in its own way,

technology replacing humans,

with every passing day.

There’s another point of view,

it’s punctuation at its best,

level with the semi colon,

better than all the rest.

So I’ll leave it up to others,

to argue their point of view.

While I ask ChatGPT,

to write me something new.
