As a “proud” Texan I gotta tell you I can relate we are told of our specialness from grade school and being told that we are the only state in the union that can legally succeed it is ridiculous every time a reasonable person is in the white house (Obama) a chorus of screw em we will just leave can be heard at every redneck bar It is hard to live here but I grew up here and my children and grandchildren are here so I grit my teeth and silence my “you are no better just an asshole’ sorry for the rant you touched a nerve-happy to know it is not just here (oh and Texas loves Trump another cross to bear😂)
